Okay, here's two reasons to be stoked. First, it's finally Friday, thank you Jesus! Secondly, it looks like we are going to see our first 50 degree temps in Sioux Falls for the first time since December 10!

The 50 degree or above weather is suppose to last into the first half of the weekend according to our friends over at KDLT TV. Then temps will gradually get back to normal early next week. The good news is we should continue to see above freezing temps all seven days next week.

I've always found it kind of funny how as we transition from fall to winter here in South Dakota, 50 degree weather often times can give a person the chills. Now, after months of an arctic blast, a couple of 50 degree days will feel like a week long tropical vacation. Break out those Bermuda shorts and start making the Mai Tai's it's gonna be 50 in February baby!

Enjoy the warmth this weekend. Fire up the barbecue, wash all that goo and guck off your car and try not to total out your vehicle in one of those moon-sized crater potholes on the way to the car wash.
