Many ALDI stores have pulled Star Snacks Co. Cashews from their shelves due to a concern that they could contain pieces of glass.

According to the United States Food & Drug Administration:

Star Snacks Co. of Jersey City, NJ is voluntarily recalling  two lots of Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with Sea Salt due to the potential presence of glass pieces. The recall was initiated after the company received consumer reports of glass found in the product. To date, there have not been any reported injuries. Potentially impacted product has been removed from store shelves.

The states affected by this recall include: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC., Wisconsin and West Virginia.

All ALDI stores included in this recall have pulled the products from their shelves.

If you purchased the cashews, you can return them to any of the Sioux Falls' ALDI stores (or one near you) for a full refund.
