As a die hard Vikings fan I have been monitoring the drama surrounding the return of Adrian Peterson to the 2015 team.

On Wednesday, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said this about pro running Adrian Peterson: “He’s got two choices. He can play for us or not play.”

AP is not taking part in the team’s offseason workouts.  It's been reported that he was at Disneyland with family.

There has been lots of talk that Peterson wanted to be traded away from the team.  And that he was not happy with the way Vikings management acted during his legal proceedings concerning child abuse accusations.

But on Wednesday night Adrian Peterson spoke to Josina Anderson of ESPN and said that wasn’t the case.

AP said: “The reason I’m not attending OTAs has nothing to do with wanting to be traded,” Peterson said. “It’s about securing my future with the Vikings. It’s business, not personal and I understand that firsthand. Go Vikings.”

I agree with AP "Go Vikings!"  This could be the year!
