Wine connoisseurs take note, there's a new wine coming out that's 100% South Dakotan.

A brand new wine is being introduced this August by the Gould Family, who owns The Old Folsom Vineyard just southeast of Rapid City.

The wine will make its debut at The Tasting Room in Downtown Rapid City.

The Tasting Room is known for featuring many different types of wines, most come in from Washington, Oregon and California.

This new wine however, is one of the few beverages where it's completely and entirely created right here in South Dakota.

According to Mike Gould, owner of The Tasting Room, "We do all the fermentation, and blending. We put it on oak for a year, and then you get the benefit of the final product."

The Gould family is still mulling over the name of the new Vino, once the final product is completed the name of the wine and its release date will be announced.
