First for South Dakota Air National Guard

The 114th Fighter Wing Change of Responsibility Ceremony will take place this Saturday (August 5).

Chief Master Sgt. Zona L Hornstra has been selected as the 114th Fighter Wing’s first female Wing Command Chief

Hornstra will take over for Chief Master Sgt. Michael J. Clauson who is retiring after 21 years of military service.

Chief master sergeants selected must be exceptionally well qualified with a broad range of leadership experience and superior communication skills.
