3 Things to Do in Sioux Falls This Weekend
OK, so we all know that the 2016 Sioux Falls JazzFest is going on this weekend at Yankton Park (and if you've driven down I-229 in the last few days there's no way you couldn't know). But if you are looking for something else to do this weekend, or you want to take a break from the music, here are 3 things you could do instead of or in addition to JazzFest.
Sioux Falls Indoor Flea Market and Craft Fair
- Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sioux Falls Convention Center (See Map Below)
Featuring vendors offering handcrafted goods, vintage and antique finds, sweet treats and specialty products from local small businesses. Admission is $5 for adults, kids 12 and under free. Military, fire and police get in free. The first 100 adult attendees will receive a free swag bag. Register to win door prizes.
12th Annual Heritage Music Festival

Elk Point-Jefferson School Gym, 402 S. Douglas, Elk Point, SD 57025 United States (See Map Below)
Mark your calendars and enjoy a day and evening of live, talented, quality entertainment and acoustic country, gospel, and variety music at the air-conditioned Elk Point Jefferson Middle School Gym, 402 S. Douglas, from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM in Elk Point SD (just 20 minutes on I-29 north of Sioux City IA).
The fundraiser proceeds will benefit Elk Point Masonic Lodge #3 High School Youth Scholarship Program and funds the Youth SDCHIP Program. A donation at the door is appreciated!

There will be craft vendors, a bake sale, concessions, circle jamming and A ROAST BEEF DINNER at 5:00 pm. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a family friendly day of music and fun!
Beneift for AIva and Tatym
- Saturday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Fresh Horses Saloon, 106 E Willow St., Harrisburg, SD 57032 United States
Childhood should be joyful, a magical time filled with love and laughter and happy, memory-making adventures, big and small. It should be. It quite often isn’t. Childhood for Aiva and Tatym Stapf has been anything but. They have both been diagnosed with a rare, genetic disease which more than likely will rob them of not only large portions of their youth, but inevitably, their adulthood.
Friends and family have organized a fundraiser on Saturday, July 16, 2016, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Fresh Horses Saloon on main street in Harrisburg, South Dakota.
