An eight-hour city-wide saturation patrol by Sioux Falls Police on Saturday ended with a total of 264 tickets written.

Information Officer Sam Clemens says no motorists were arrested for drunk driving, which he says may be a first.

He says the officers issued 110 tickets for speeding, 40 for no insurance and 17 for seat belt violations.

Sixteen additional officers worked the saturation patrol from 8am until 4pm Saturday in 44 complaint zones throughout the city.
