2014 Corvette Stingray
General Motors has a sweet ride ready for a showroom near you. Introducing the new, sleek 2014 Corvette Stingray. Just for the record, I’m still coveting.
The C7 is only the third Corvette in the 60 year history of the car to carry the hallowed Stingray name.
The new Stingray boasts 455 HP and can go from 0 – 60 in less than four seconds and still get 29 miles per gallon the highway. 4 of the 8 cylinders can shut down while just cruising around town.
The rear-end has a Camaro-esque look.
The 2014 Corvette Stingray will be ready to hit the showroom floor at the end of summer and Edmunds.com is estimating that the vehicle will cost in the ballpark of $54,000. The HPE1000 Twin Turbo will cost a little more at around $67,950.
So, after a little calculations, I estimated that’s going to cost the new ‘vette owner around $750 per month on a 5-year finance.
Maybe the Fisher-Price Power Wheels version is the way to go…for now.
