Adam Scott birdied the second playoff hole to beat Angel Cabrera and win the 2013 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia on Sunday. In winning his first-ever major, Scott became the first Australian ever to win the Masters.

The tournament pressed on to a sudden-death playoff for the second consecutive year after both Scott and Cabrera made epic shots on the 18th hole in the final round. Scott sank a 20-foot putt, while Cabrera made a near-perfect shot from the fairway that set him up with a short putt to tie. Both players were able to par the first playoff hole, before Scott got his birdie for the Masters win.
